Duo Dog Mario as a pup, before he was trained by a qualified Duo Dog trainer in St. Louis, Missouri.

Duo Dog Mario has two handlers at the CACIC. Mario is a great comfort during forensic interviews, medical exams, or when a child first enters the center.

After an exciting, sometimes challenging, and fun-filled week, Mario was ready to go home and start his new life as a facility dog at the CACIC!

When a child visits the CAC, they are offered a "Mario" plushie to take home with them. In this way, Mario can continue to offer comfort to a child.
